SOFC Sponsorship

Football is an expensive game. Entry into the Football Mundial Eastbourne League every season is not cheap.

When SOFC started, the kit was provided by Smith and Ouzman, but the entry fee was paid for by the players in a pay-to-play system.

At £3 a player for each game, getting money each week was a chore, but one that kept the team going through their first season.

Smith & Ouzman's second and third season was paid for by an unnamed sponsor, which SOFC is very grateful for.

The fourth season was paid for by Smith and Ouzman Ltd, after the unnamed sponsor decided that the seasons were coming round too quickly and said that they would consider sponsoring SOFC next season.

Home Kit

The kit that SOFC is in the Company's Colours of Green, Black and White.

On the front of the Shirt is part of the Company Logo. The whole logo could not be printed on the kit but it is still clearly recognisable.

Although the team is still a company team, many of the players who have played for SOFC have not been employees. The reason for this is that there was not enough players who could be relied on to play regularly every week.

The first SOFC team to play in the Football Mundial league was made up entirely of Smith and Ouzman employees. But the interest has waned in the team, so players from outside the company were drafted in, which in the end, helped to improve the Greens.

Smith and Ouzman Limited will remain the main sponsor for the foreseeable future, but other sponsors are always needed. The League entrance fee is always needed, plus we are in need of team tops for the cold Winter Leagues.
