Sunday 21 August 2005 - 1 Day Till Cup Finals Night |

With the Cup Finals tomorrow, SOFC are going through their final preperations before the big night. We are urging all supporters to show your colours and cheer on the lads tomorrow night. We would love to see lots of people cheering the boys on. The Quarter Final game is at 7.00. If SOFC manage to win, then their next game would be at 8.00. Also if you didn't already know, the pictures from Monday's game against MetalTech are now available with the match report. If any of you tried to access the website yesterday, you wouldn't have found it. Our Website Host's seemed to have a problem for most of Friday. We still dont know what the problem was, but were please to see everything running again at about 3.30pm yesterday. We don't know if the problem has been fully cured, so expect problems later on. Now only 4 days till the Summer League 2005 Cup Final Night. We continue with our in-depth look at each S&O player, and today it features Manager Dean Pugh. Also our first bit of Team news ahead of Monday Night is that Alan Smith will be unavailable to play, which is a big blow to the Greens hopes. The experienced defender will be out of the country from Saturday. Manager Dean Pugh said, "Its a disappointment, I thought he was joking when he told me. Tuesday 16 August 2005 - SOFC in Seventh Heaven |

The Greens ended the season with their biggest victory ever last night when they thumped MetalTech CST 7-0. Mark Likeman, Dean Pugh, Neil Taylor and Alan Smith got the goals for the Greens. Smith & Ouzman had no chance of promotion before tonights game, as Whitley Bridge, JPH FC and Willingdon Wanderers battled it out for the second spot. In the end, Whitley Bridge were beaten 3-2 by Champions Carters Elite, while JPH FC were humiliated once again as they were stuffed 6-2 by Is Your Sister Athletic who put on an outstanding performance. Willingdon beat Hailsham Hounds 1-0, claiming the second position in the League. Meanwhile In Division 1, SOFC's Quarter Final opponents Full House, who had already won the League Title, lost 2-1 to Harvester FC. Monday 15 August 2005 - Last League Match |

Tonight see's the final round of games for the Eastbourne Summer League take place. Smith & Ouzman face bottom of the table Metaltech CST. Manager Dean Pugh says "We will be using our full strength team tonight, I dont want any slip ups before the Cup Finals Night. We also don't expect to just turn up and win." The Greens could win their 8th game in a row tonight, and finish the League with a positive goal difference for the first time. Tuesday 09 August 2005 - Greens earn bragging rights |

Smith & Ouzman earned the bragging rights over arch rivals Is Your Sister Athletic last night as they gained revenge for their 3-1 defeat back in June. Mark Likeman and Dean Pugh got the goals for the Greens as they grabbed a last minute winner against Athletic. The win means SOFC keep up their good form, claiming their 7 victory in a row. Winning their last game of the season next week would insure that not only do they extend the record, but also finish the league for the first time with an positive goal difference. Wednesday 03 August 2005 - Cup Night Draw Made |

Football Mundial have just sent out letters to all the teams that Qualified for the Cup Finals night with the fixtures for that night. Smith & Ouzman will take on Full House on Pitch 1 at 7.00. Should they win, they would have to wait 30 minutes before playing in their Semi Final against either Real Ale Madrid, or Division 2 Champions Carters Elite. In the other games, Willingdon Wanderers take on Harvester FC, and Whitley Bridge take on JPH FC, the winners of each game face each other in the other Semi Final. But before that, there is the small matter of beating rivals Is Your Sister Athletic in Monday's game. Tuesday 02 August 2005 - SOFC reach Quarter Finals |

SOFC put on another strong display against a good Cavendish Barcelona side. The greens cruised into a 3-0 lead before half time before conceding just after the break. Dean Pugh, Neil Taylor and Mark Likeman got the goals for Smith & Ouzman, who topped the group after JPH FC were beaten by Humphrey & Co 3-1. SOFC will now play Full House in the Quarter Finals 3 weeks from now after the secured 2nd spot with a 3-0 win over next weeks opponents, Is Your Sister Athletic.
