Tuesday 28 March 2006 - Greens Lose Thriller

Smith and Ouzman lost their second game in as many weeks as they eventually lost 5-4 to a very tough Whitley Bridge side.

The Greens twice came from behind in the game, and were 3-0 down at one point. SOFC will be disappointed to have scored 4 goals and still lost the game.

The Goals came from Neil Taylor, Chris Healy and Mark Likeman (2).

Tuesday 21 March 2006 - Greens Furious At Referee

Smith and Ouzman were left disapointed as the Referee contributed to their downfall as they lost 4-0 to JPH.

With the scores level the referee awarded a dubious penalty to JPH, and continued to make bad disissions throught the game, ending with Pugh being sent off for questioning the Referee.

It will go down as another bad tempered game against JPH.

Tuesday 14 March 2006 - Greens League Form Continues

Smith & Ouzman managed to continue their good league form as they overcame a very tough Barstoolowner team.

Neil Taylor got the all important goal to secure all three points for the Greens, but the whole team battled well together once again.

Tuesday 07 March 2006 - Smith and Ouzman Earn Point

Smith and Ouzman continued their unbeaten start to the season, but lost their 100 per cent record when Dream Team earn a much deserved point when they equalised with two minutes to go.

Mark Likeman got the goal for the Greens to put them in front, but they could not hold on for all three points.

Tuesday 28 February 2006 - Greens Suffer Cup Defeat

Smith and Ouzman suffered their first defeat of the season as Harvester got revenge for their League defeat a few weeks ago.

Harvester FC managed to win the game by the one goal which gave Courtier no chance in saving.

Although this time Smith & Ouzman put in a much better performance than last time, the Greens simply could not find the target, or a way past Harvesters Defence.

Tuesday 21 February 2006 - Green in Dreamland

Smith & Ouzman dream start to life in Division 1 continued as they came away with another battling three points against a tough Humphrey & Co side.

Neil Taylor got the all-important goal to ensure that the Greens remain top of the league, and their 100% start to the season remains.

The last time these two teams meet was last season in the Cup Group stages, where Humphrey & Co emerged as winners by two goals to nil.

Tuesday 14 February 2006 - Greens win again.

Smith and Ouzman maintained their 100% start to the season when they came from behind to beat Cavendish Barcelona 4-1 with goals from Neil Taylor, Dean Pugh and Mark Likeman (2).

Murray Hicks was the only change from last week's game, he replace the injured Christian Courtier in goal.

They Greens face another tough test next week when they take on Humphrey & Co, who are currently third in the table.

Tuesday 07 February 2006 - Greens League Run Continues

Smith & Ouzman continued their brilliant start to the season this week with a flattering 3-0 win over Harvester FC. Although the Greens were camped in their own half for much of the game, Christian Courtier ensured that SOFC remained in the game and kept the scores level with some brilliant saves.

The goals came from Mark Likeman and Neil Taylor (2) as the Greens look to cement their place in Division 1 for the near future.

Tuesday 31 January 2006 - Greens Get Great Start

Smith and Ouzman entered their first game in Division 1 of the new season against Whitley Bridge on Monday, and came out with all 3 points.

Two equalisers from Neil Taylor, and a third from Dean Pugh ensured that the Greens won 3-2 and a brilliant start to the new season.

The Division 2 champions were without Chris Healy and Murray Hicks, plus keeper Christian Courtier was also a doubt before the game with a broken finger.

Tuesday 10 January 2006 - Greens fall at Semi Final stage

Smith and Ouzman once again suffered Semi-Final heartache as they crashed 4-0 to JPH FC. The Greens were forced to battle to the very end against Whitley Bridge in the Quarter Finals, and ultimately drained most of their energy as they fought back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 with goals from Neil Taylor and Mark Likeman.

The Greens were awarded their Division 2 trophy, which now sits proudly in Phil Ouzman's office.
